"David is a fantastic guitar teacher for my young son, taking him from 0 to creating and recording songs in fun and engaging ways in a short time. He is patient and takes the time to find approaches that work best for a student. He’s also funny and easy to work with. I highly recommend!"

Teaching students 10 years-old and up and seeing them succeed makes me happy. Because every student is unique, all my lessons are tailored to each student's skill level, interests, and goals. I offer weekly or biweekly lessons to fit students' schedules in a supportive and inspiring musical environment.

Whether you're starting guitar from scratch or already have some skills, my goal is to help you progress as rapidly as possible while always keeping things fun and relaxed.
I teach both acoustic and electric guitar across most genres including folk, rock, blues, pop, roots, country, and alternative. At any given time we may touch on some fretboard theory, learn to play a song you love, or just make some music together.

I look forward to working with you.
